The brief

The client wanted to refresh the rear elevation of the property and improve the overall appearance of the render without overcomplicating the job. The goal was a cleaner finish, better presentation from the street, and a result that would hold up properly once exposed to weather again.

The work

This job started with the usual exterior discipline: inspect the surface, prepare thoroughly, and only then move into the coating system. Time spent on preparation makes the visible difference later, especially on rendered elevations where poor prep shows quickly.

We repaired and prepared the surface, then repainted the render and front-facing elements to create a more even, brighter finish. The updated frontage now reads as one clean scheme instead of a patchwork of tired areas.

The outcome

The finished exterior feels sharper, lighter, and much better maintained. It is the kind of project that photographs well, but more importantly it improves the first impression of the property every day.

Project Highlights

  • Surface preparation and stabilising work before painting
  • Clean masonry finish to brighten the frontage
  • Coordinated colours across render and trims
  • Improved kerb appeal with a durable exterior system
